G1 Cartoon

Brawn was one of the Autobots who crashed on Earth with Optimus Prime.  His first mission was to stop the Decepticons on an off shore oil rig.  After a brief battle, Megatron damages the oil rig and retreats with the Decepticons.

During the collapse of the oil rig, Huffer gets trapped in wreckage.  Brawn comes to his rescue, using his welding torch attachment in his arm, he is able to cut the wreckage off of Huffer and together they fly away.  Brawn then joins Optimus Prime and the Autobots in defending Sherman Dam from the Decepticons.

Hound then makes a holographic rocket base and Brawn is sent to fight the Decepticons.  His smaller stature makes him a perfect stand in for part of the staff of the fake base.  Megatron knew it was a trap and the Autobots plan wasn’t successful.  While the Autobots were trying to ambush the Decepticons, they were at a different site getting the energy they needed.  Now that the Decepticons have enough energy to return to Cybertron, Optimus Prime and the Autobots attack the Decepticon base to prevent them from leaving Earth.  The Autobots arrive at the same time that the Decepticons are boarding their ship.  The Autobots have the upper hand in the battle, but the Decepticons retreat to their space cruiser.
Later, Brawn is part of a rescue party to save Spike.  The Autobots had no idea they were walking into a Decepticon trap.  They go to the correct location of the Decepticon Space Bridge.  The Autobots travel to the Space Bridge and save Spike.

After Starscream temporarily becomes leader of the Decepticons, he attacks a hydroelectric dam with Thundercracker and Soundwave.  Optimus Prime takes Brawn and Cliffjumper to stop them.

When Ironhide discovers a cavern behind a wall on the Ark, Brawn helps dig an opening with Sideswipe.  When they enter the room, they find dinosaur bones.  This gives Wheeljack and Spike the idea to create the Dinobots. .  Brawn then goes on a mission with several other Autobots to fight the Decepticons at a dam.  When the Autobots arrive, the Decepticons come out of hiding and attack.  Megatron hooks his fusion cannon up to the turbines, supercharging his weapon.  He attacks the Autobots, sending them crashing into the water.  The Decepticons bind the Autobots with energy chains, and prepare to destroy them.  Brawn and the Autobots are saved by Wheeljack and the Dinobots.

Brawn and Trailbreaker go on patrol together.  Trailbreaker notices Starscream and Thundercracker flying above them.  Brawn speeds off to engage the Decepticons.  He enters a foundry, where the Decepticons are trying to steal raw materials.  Starscream fires on him, but he jumps out of the way.  Then Trailbreaker enters the foundry to back up Brawn.  The two Decepticons run out of the factory, and Starscream fires missiles at the Autobots.  The factory is destroyed and the Decepticons get away with their steel.  The Autobots dig themselves out of the wreckage and return to base. Later Brawn uses Skyfire to get to the Andes to fight the Decepticons with Windcharger.  Together, Brawn and Windcharger jump out of Skyfire to attack.  Brawn lands on Soundwave’s back.  He makes Soundwave crash into a mountain.  Brawn attacks Megatron, but Megatron shoots Brawn with his fusion cannon.  Then Soundwave starts shooting Brawn in the head.  Megatron then transforms into gun mode and arms Soundwave.  Together, they fire on Brawn, but Brawn is able to dodge the blast.  He leaps away and calls Windcharger and Skyfire for back up.  Soundwave has Brawn in his sights, he fires Megatron again, but misses . Brawn jumps onto Windcharger’s hood, and together they reenter Skyfire to escape back to the Ark to get reinforcements.  When Brawn returns to Peru, he steals Megatron’s arm cannon during the battle.  Brawn then fires on Megatron with Megatron’s own weapon.  Megatron falls to the ground.  Laserbeak steals the cannon back from Brawn and returns it to Megatron.  Megatron quickly uses his cannon to attack Brawn, but Brawn is able to avoid the blast.  While escaping, Megatron fires on a mountain, causing an avalanche to occupy the Autobots.  The Autbots save the village and all of its inhabitants.  The Autobots then make their way to the Inca Temple to battle the Decepticons.  As they approach, Megatron fires the cannon at the Autobots, but they are able to dodge his attacks.  During the battle, Megatron destroys a hill which covers the Autobots in rubble.  The Autobots dig themselves out and continue to try to stop the Decepticons.  The Decepticons then attack in force, and the Autobots are trapped behind cover.  After seeing Optimus Prime and Ironhide attack Megatron, Brawn and Windcharger approach the temple.  They are intercepted by Starscream.  Windcharger is hit by Starscream and falls down the stairs of the temple.  Brawn then charges at Starscream and tackles him.  They grapple with each other causing Megatron to loose control of the cannon.  Brawn overcomes Starscream and throws him off of the top of the temple.  The Decepticons are defeated (as usual) and retreat.

After Sparkplug Witwicky is kidnapped by the Decepticons, Brawn helps the Autobots get him back.  He uses a drill in vehicle mode to dig a path to the Decepticon base.  Cliffjumper guides Brawn with his sensors.  Brawn digs a tunnel under the ocean floor.  Windcharger’s magnetic abilities help the three Autobots find the Decepticon base.  Once they detect the base, Brawn punches a hole in the tunnel.  Brawn, Windcharger , and Cliffjumper swim to the Decepticon headquarters and save Sparkplug.  Then, Brawn punches a hole in the Decepticon base, and the Autobots swim to safety with Sparkplug (who can hold his breath longer than any other human in the world).  Before the Autobots can catch their breath, Megatron leads the Decepticons to attack them again.  Sparkplug turned Teletran 1 off and in doing so, all of the Autobot defenses.  Since Sparkplug was working on “repairing” the Autobots who saved him, them and their weapons start to malfunction.  Before Megatron can destroy the Autobots, Spike quickly repairs Teletran 1 and activates the Autobot defenses.  After Teletran 1 is fully repaired, the Autobots learn that the Decepticons are building a massive Space Bridge.  Brawn goes with the Autobots to investigate the Decepticon plot.  Once they arrive, Dr. Arkeville and Megatron order their mind controlled human slaves to attack the Autobots.  They know that the Autobots won’t attack a human.

The Decepticons are successful in activating the Space Bridge.  It brings Cybertron to Earth and causes numerous natural disasters across the globe.  The Autobots are forced to retreat when Soundwave uses a sonic attack to clear the area.  Brawn goes to Cybertron inside of Skyfire with several other Autobots to save Sparkplug.  On Cybertron, Spike trips a trap door.  Bumblebee leaps into the air to save him and Brawn follows.  They are trapped in a cell, but Brawn sees a ventilator shaft.  They escape the cell but are in a labyrinth like ventilation system.  They manage to accidentally get inside of the Cybertronian Decepticon Headquarters.  The first thing they see is a large computer labeled “Hypnochip Control” and figure out that it is what they came to Cybertron to find.  They try to contact Wheeljack but someone approaches.  It is Sparkplug.  Spike tries to talk to him, but Sparkplug sounds the alarm.

The Autobots try to escape, but they are intercepted by Shockwave, Soundwave, and two nameless Decepticon Tetrajets.  Brawn attacks the two Decepticon Tetrajets and shoots Soundwave in the chest.  Spike is the first to try to escape, but Sparkplug gets in his way.  Shockwave fires at Spike, but Brawn dives in the way of the energy blast.  Brawn grabs a metal bar and attempts to attack Shockwave with it.  Shockwave fires his cannon at the beam and melts it.  As the Decepticons are about to capture (or kill not totally sure which) Brawn, Bumblebee, and Spike, they are saved by Skyfire, Wheeljack, and Trailbreaker.   Skyfire provides cover fire so the Autobots can escape.  The Autobots travel through Cybertron, but they are attacked by Decepticon weapons and a few Decepticon Tetrajets.  Skyfire protects the Autobots by providing air support.  The Autobots make their way to Wheeljack’s lab.  They are followed by two Decepticon drones, but Skyfire leads them away.  The Autobots use Spike as bait to draw out Sparkplug. They want to test a device which should deactivate the hypnochips.  Shockwave grabs Spike and orders Sparkplug to kill him.  Before Sparkplug can pull the trigger, the Autobots reveal themselves.  Sparkplug’s mind is restored when Wheeljack uses a device to destroy the hypnochip.  Shockwave is about to fire on Spike and Sparkplug, but Brawn shoots the Decepticon first.  The Autobots fight their way out of the Decepticon base and escape back to Earth on Skyfire.  Brawn and the Autobots arrive on a tropical island just in time to prevent the rest of the Autobots from being defeated.  Spike rallies the Autobots not to give up. Together, they fire on and destroy Megatron’s ship.  The explosion caused by the Energon Cubes is powerful enough to send Cybertron out of Earth’s orbit.  The Earth is saved and Megatron is thought to be dead.

The Earth is safe, but severely damaged.  Brawn and the Autobots do everything they can to help repair the Earth.  Brawn and Gears help rebuild a broken dam.  When the Autobots learn that Megatron is alive, the Autobots follow the Decepticons to Dr. Arkeville’s lab.  When the Decepticons learn they are being followed, Megatron sends Skywarp and Thundercracker to attack the Autobots.  The Decepticon rockets hit the walls of a canyon, trapping Bumblebee behind rocks.  Optimus Prime has Brawn dig Bumblebee out.  The brief battle ends after Optimus Prime throws Megatron in a lake and the Decepticons retreat.  The Autobots continue to follow the Decepticons, but the Decepticons lead them into a trap.  They guide the Autobots into a canyon filled with quicksand.  The Autobots transform to dig themselves out, but the Decepticons get away.  They learn that the Decepticons are traveling to Dr. Arkeville’s lab.  They transform and travel to the lab.  Optimus Prime and Megatron work together to save the Earth and the Autobots return home.

The Insecticons attack villagers in Bali, Brawn volunteers to stop them.  He travels aboard Skyfire with Spike, Windcharger and Bumblebee.  Skyfire takes the team of Autobots to a farm that is being attacked by Insecticons.  Once the Autobots exit Skyfire, the Insecticons attack with fireball launchers.  The Insecticons’ attacks aren’t powerful enough to harm the Autobots.  The Autobots think it is going to be a very simple battle because they have the Insecticons outnumbered and out gunned.  The three Insecticons work together to create an army of clones which overwhelm the Autobots.  Brawn at first thinks that the clones are just an optical illusion.  The army of Insecticons focus their firepower on the Autobots.  Brawn is hit in the chest by a laser beam.  The Insecticons rush at the four Autobots and Spike, forcing them to retreat.  The Insecticons follow the fleeing Autobots into a corn field.  The Autobots are trying to hide while they wait for reinforcements.  Shrapnel fires a sphere from his hand that sprays shrapnel across the field.  Windcharger uses his magnetic powers to deflect the shrapnel and protect the Autobots.  The Autobots are given a brief respite when Megatron and the Decepticons arrive to recruit the Insecticons.  Optimus Prime arrives at the farm with the rest of the Autobots.  Once they attack, the Decepticons fly into the air to escape with their new Insecticon allies.  The Insecticons break off from the Decepticons to attack the Autobots.  Optimus Prime throws Brawn at Shrapnel so he could attack the Insecticon.  Brawn rides Shrapnel as he tries to shake the Autobot off of him.   He isn’t able to, but Kickback kicks Brawn off of Shrapnel.  Brawn falls to the ground, but Skyfire swoops in and catches him.  The Autobots track the Insecticons and Decepticons to an oil refinery.  When the Autobots arrive, they fight the Decepticons.  Shrapnel fires a shrapnel grenade at Optimus Prime, Brawn, and Wheeljack.  They dive into the water to avoid damage.  The oil in the water catches fire when Thundercracker shoots the water.  The Autobots swim under the dock and emerge from underneath to knock Thundercracker down.  The battle ends when the Insecticons betray the Decepticons and steal their Energon Cubes.  The Decepticons fly into the air to chase the Insecticons.

Brawn and the Autobots travel to an Air Force Base to defend it from a Decepticon attack.  Brawn watches as Soundwave shoots Ratchet and Windcharger.  He rushes to Soundwave and kicks him into the air.  Soundwave goes flying into several rockets and knocks them over.  The Decepticons retreat when they realize that the battle cause all of the rocket fuel to be destroyed.

Brawn travels with the Autobots into the forest to help Wheeljack test his new invention, the Immobilizer.  The device is successful in stopping the motion of a waterfall and pond.  It also turns the stopped water into an impenetrable substance.   Brawn doesn’t believe that the “frozen” water is as strong as Wheeljack claims it is.  He tries to punch it, but only hurts his hand.  After a successful test, the Decepticons arrive and steal the device.   The Autobots track the Decepticons to a beach.  The Autobots soon arrive and fight the Decepticons, but many of them are immobilizer.  Carly has Brawn dig a tunnel under the immobilizer so they can get it away from Rumble.

Brawn goes to Japan with the Autobots to give protection for Dr. Fujiama’s creation, the robot named Nightbird.  The Decepticons attack the auditorium to steal the robot.  Brawn stands on a balcony and fires his blaster at Soundwave.  Instead of firing at Brawn, Soundwave shoots the balcony and Brawn falls to the ground, covered in rubble.  The battle ends when Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp rip the ceiling off of the building and steal Nightbird.  After the battle, Ratchet wants to transport Brawn back to the Autobot base.  His pride is hurt because he can’t transform.  He says that he will walk, but eventually agrees to ride inside of Ratchet for repairs.  After Brawn is repaired, he helps Optimus Prime and the Autobots search for Nightbird after she breaks into the Autobot base and steals information.  Nightbird defeats the Autobots in battle, Hound uses his advanced sensors to lead the Autobots to her.  Hound tracks Nightbird to a canyon in the desert.  The Autobots transform to capture her but she escapes again.  The Autobots climb the canyon walls to catch her.  When Cliffjumper is about to fall off of the rocks, Brawn catches him.   Eventually, the Autobots create an electromesh cage and capture Nightbird.  The Decepticons attack the Autobots to get the chip.  Bombshell grabs it and Brawn fires a bazooka at him and Bombshell drops the chip.  Megatron uses an anti matter blaster to nullify the cage and both sides continue fighting.  During the battle, Nightbird kicks Brawn in the stomach (or where his stomach would be if he had one).  Ultimately, Starscream uses his null rays to deactivate Nightbird and flies away.  The Decepticons chase him and the Autobots recover the data chip.  .

When a gold mine is being attacked by Decepticons, Optimus Prime sounds the alarm to rally the Autobots.  The Decepticons are about to kill the miners, the Autobots attack.  The Decepticons free the miners to prevent the Autobots from attacking.  The battle comes to an abrupt end when the Decepticons abduct Gears and fly away.  The Autobots return to their base and the Earth is in jeopardy of being destroyed when the Decepticons are stealing solar energy.  The Autobots go to Africa to stop the Decepticons, save the Earth, and save Gears.   Of course, Gears is restored and the Earth is saved and the Decepticons retreat.

When Optimus Prime detects energy flares from under the ocean.  Brawn volunteers to go with Optimus to investigate.  The Autobots use their hydrofoil mode to travel on top of the water.  The Autobots submerge themselves into the ocean and are quickly met by Atlantean soldiers.  The soldiers attack the Autobots.  Wheeljack calls out to Brawn to help him.  Then, the Atlanteans receive help from Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp, who use their jet modes underwater to attack the Autobots.  Brawn helps Bumblebee and Spike retreat.  Somehow Brawn gets a harpoon and throws it at Starscream.  The Autobots try to retreat but wind up in a cave.  Wheeljack stays behind and closes the entrance of the cave with rocks using his shoulder missile.  Bumblebee, Brawn, and Hound escape to the surface, just as King Nergil raises Atlantis to the surface.  The Autobots make their way to a beach and call for help as Atlantis is traveling to attack Washington DC.  Brawn meets up with Optimus Prime outside of the city.  The Autobots reach the interior of Washington DC just as the Decepticons activate a force field . The force field prevents anyone from entering or leaving the city.  Brawn sees that Thundercracker and Skywarp are attacking Prowl and Hound.  Brawn grabs one of the Atlantean harpoons and attaches a cable to it.  He lassos Thundercracker and ties him to the Washington Monument.  Then Optimus Prime shoots Thundercracker, making him crash into the ground.  King Nergil uses a magnetic weapon to immobilize Brawn, Optimus Prime, Hound, and Prowl.  Eventually, Grimlock gets the magnetic weapon and destroys it.  Once the weapon is destroyed, the Autobots regain their mobility. The Decepticons retreat from Washington DC. After repairing Washington DC, the Autobots travel to Atlantis again to confront the Atlanteans and Decepticons.  Both the Autobots and the Decepticons evacuate Atlantis when Nergil detonates the energy stockpiles.

Brawn follows Optimus Prime when the Autobots learn that the Seekers are approaching the Ark.  The Decepticons suddenly retreat and the Autobots return to base.  The next day, the Autobots receive a warning from Teletran 1 that a rocket is being attacked by the Decepticons.  The rocket is carrying a satellite which can be used as an energy source.  The Autobots plan to go to defend the rocket but they start to become evil.  Megatron and Starscream snuck into the Autobot base and altered their recharging station to turn the Autobots evil.  Optimus Prime, Prowl, and Brawn attack a rocket base to get the satellite.  They burst through the barrier and continue to the runway.  The three Autobots transform and search the tarmac for the rocket with the satellite.  Together, they start to damage the jets on the base.  While Bumblebee tries to talk the Autobots away from evil, Optimus Prime starts to attack Bumblebee.  Brawn and Prowl continue their path of destruction inside the Air Force Base.  It is ended when Skyfire lands on the base with the restored Autobots.  Hound shoots a device at Brawn which restores his mind.  Once all of the Autobots are restored, they work together to stop the Decepticons.

While Perceptor is repairing Ironhide’s internal microchips, Brawn criticizes the Autobot scientist for not being a vital member of the Autobots.  Brawn values warriors over thinkers.  Bumblebee tries to convince him that Perceptor is as important to the Autobots as any other Autobot.  Optimus Prime enters the room and tries to convince Brawn of Perceptor’s importance.  Brawn travels with Optimus Prime and the Autobots to South America because they learned of the discovery of a crashed Decepticon ship.  When they reach the South American jungle, the Autobots are forced to walk through the jungle instead of using their vehicle mode.  Brawn wants to create a path using their weapons, but Optimus Prime doesn’t want to damage the jungle.  The Autobots quickly find the trail that the Decepticons made.  They return to vehicle mode and travel to the Decepticons.  The Autobots arrive just as Hook installs the Star Drive of the ship inside of Megatron.  The Autobots attack, but Megatron is too powerful now that he has been enhanced by the Star Drive.  Together, the Autobots fire their weapons at a hill causing a rock slide.  The Decepticons are buried and the Autobots return to base to repair themselves.  Inside the Ark, Brawn makes another remark that Perceptor isn’t as valuable an Autobot because he didn’t fight.  Bumblebee, Brawn, and Perceptor shrink themselves down to enter Megatron and disconnect the Star Drive.  Inside of Megatron, Perceptor tells the other two Autobots that they have two hours to accomplish their mission, or the effect of the shrinking device will wear off and they will enlarge again.  They are quickly confronted by a security device called electro sanitizers.  They hide to avoid the devices but Brawn leaps into action and destroys them.  The three Autobots climb on gears inside of Megatron’s shoulder joints.  When Megatron moves his arm, they wind up falling.  Perceptor is about to be crushed by grinding gears, but Brawn catches him, saving him from destruction.  They continue their mission and Perceptor realizes that Megatron is horizontal.  He deduces that Megatron is flying, and Brawn assumes it is to attack the Autobots.  They reach Megatron’s brain and Brawn wants to smash it.  Perceptor warns him not to.  Bumblebee and Perceptor have to restrain Brawn from ruining the mission.  Brawn frees himself and figures that he can finally destroy Megatron.  He is about to smash Megatron’s brain, but an electrical impulse from inside of Megatron stops him.  The impulses attack Bumblebee, but Brawn defends him.  Perceptor is able to disconnect the Star Drive and the Autobots make their way to exit Megatron’s body.  As they are leaving, the effects of the shrinking device start to wear off.  They are able to escape from inside of Megatron at the last minute.  Realizing he has been defeated, Megatron flies away.  The Star Drive is destabilizing and is about to explode.  Brawn throws it miles in the sky and Perceptor transforms into microscope mode and destroys it with an energy blast.

Brawn is part of an Autobot strike force that Optimus Prime creates to save Grapple, Hoist, and their Solar Tower from the Decepticons and Constructicons.

The mayor of Central City declares an Autobot Day holiday, Brawn is part of the parade in vehicle mode.

Spike and Chip propose to Optimus Prime that the Autobots participate in a race for charity.   Huffer says it is a waste of energy.  Brawn says that Huffer can stay at the Ark for guard duty.  Brawn stays behind as well, along with Ratchet and Wheeljack.  Bumblebee, Spike, and Chip return to the Ark so Wheeljack and Ratchet can come up with a cure.  They have trouble finding the Autobots at first because Soundwave disabled the abducted Autobots’ communications.  Huffer points out that he knew the race was a bad idea, Brawn picks him up and yells at him.   Hound sends the Ark a holographic message so the free Autobots know where to save the captured Autobots.  They receive the message just as Ratchet and Wheeljack complete construction on a grenade which will restore the Autobots’ transformation abilities.  Brawn and the free Autobots make their way to the Decepticons’ Ghost Town with Spike and Chip.  As soon as they arrive, the are attacked by Decepticons.  Wheeljack’s invention works and the Autobots regain their ability to transform.

The Decepticons covered themselves with a substance called Electrum which makes them unable to be damaged.  Brawn prepares to defend the Ark from the Electrum enhanced Decepticons.  The Decepticons defeat the Autobots, but they let all of the Autobots survive.

The Decepticons take control of a Baseball Stadium to build a Space Bridge.  Brawn and the Autobots make their way to the stadium to defend the humans.  When they arrive, they find the Decepticons are already terrorizing the humans for their own twisted fun.  Brawn races towards Soundwave and grabs him by the legs.  Brawn spins around and tosses Soundwave into the air.

Brawn shows up when Optimus Prime tasks Powerglide with searching for the captive Jazz and Cliffjumper.

Brawn is killed in Transformers the Movie

Marvel G1 Comic

Brawn wasn’t in the G1 Marvel book that much, and was relegated to battle scenes mainly.

After being revived in 1984 by the Ark, his first battle appearance was saving Mirage from Ravage when the Decepticons attacked Sparkplug Witwicky’s garage to kidnap Sparkplug.   After Sparkplug is kidnapped, Brawn is part of the team Optimus Prime leads to recover Sparkplug.  Brawn shows his true physical strength by knocking out Rumble with one punch.

Brawn is next shown in the background with Bluestreak making adjustments on The Ark while Prowl is giving GB Blackrock a tour of The Ark.

Brawn is damaged by Swindle on the moon when the Decepticons attack while the Autobots are distracted by Blaster and Grimlock’s battle.

After Starscream is powered by Underbase energy, Brawn is part of the New York City strike team.  He is killed by Starscream.

IDW Transformers

In the early days of Optimus Prime as leader of the Autobots, the Autobots get together to celebrate a victory against the Decepticons.

After Optimus Prime surrenders to Skywatch, Hot Rod wants to leave the Earthbound Autobots.  Brawn thinks he is weak for wanting to leave.  Brawn is ready to fight Hot Rod, but Bumblebee calms him down.   The remaining Autobots vote Bumblebee in as their new leader.

Under Ultra Magnus’ command, an Autobot strike force goes to Rodimus’ spacecraft.    When Ultra Magnus comes to the rocket site, Swindle betrays the partnership with Rodimus’ Autobots and reveals Menasor.

Several Autobots go to South Korea to battle the Combaticons.  Brawn, Red Alert, and Bluestreak are left behind.  Brawn feels that his superiors made a bad choice in letting him stay.  Brawn lifts up a tank over his head to show how strong he is.  Bluestreak tells Brawn that he was left behind because he complains too much.  One of the Skywatch agents tells them to stop fighting with each other.  Brawn says he will get revenge for Ironhide when he finds out which Skywatch agent killed Ironhide.  Red Alert and Bluestreak go back to eating Energon Cubes.  Brawn sulks in the corner.

A week after the world learns that the Transformers are still on Earth, Bumblebee realizes he has to address the human race.  Bumblebee, Bluestreak and Brawn go to a press conference.  He gives a very Optimus like speech to explain to the world that the Autobots are there to help.  A man in the crowd takes out a familiar looking Walther P-38 and fires.  He hits Bumblebee in the chest.

Security immediate grabs the shooter.  Bluestreak tells them not to hurt the shooter.  Brawn isn’t as nice.  The shooter starts ranting and raving that the Transformers need to be stopped.  Inside the Skywatch base, Brawn is upset that they are keeping the Megatron pistol instead of destroying it.  A Skywatch scientist says that he doesn’t think it is Megatron.  He theorizes that if it were the real Megatron, Bumblebee would’ve been dead.  Brawn asks who the scientist is and the scientist says he is the one keeping Bumblebee alive.  Ultra Magnus tells Brawn to let it go and stand down.  Brawn asks Magnus if he is planning to arrest him.  Bluestreak interrupts and says that he has something they need to see.  The news is reporting that a Skywatch plane with the Autobots aboard crashed.  There are protests outside of the Skywatch base which are ended when Soundwave, Rumble, and Frenzy attack.  Ultra Magnus, Brawn, and Bluestreak go outside to battle the Decepticons.  Frenzy (who is black) lets out a massive sonic attack from his mouth.  The Autobots struggle to cover their “ears”.  Blitzwing and the Stunticons join the fight.  Blitzwing gets Scrapper’s dead body from storage and the Stunticons kill several Skywatch agents.

After an assassination attempt on Bumblebee, Ultra Magnus and Brawn examine the weapon.  The weapon is made of parts of Megatron.  Ultra Magnus doesn’t understand why the Decepticons didn’t take it because in their raid, they rescued dead Decepticons.  Brawn and Ultra Magnus are very confused.  They also watch a human scientist try to repair Bumblebee.  Ultra Magnus thinks that the Autobots should leave Earth since they are in danger.  Bluestreak tells Magnus that it wouldn’t be wise to move Bumblebee.  Magnus tells the Autobots that it is impossible to defend the Skywatch base and they should go to Omega Supreme.  Magnus doesn’t like that it feels like the Autobots are retreating.  He takes Brawn aside and says he has a secret solo mission for him.

Before Starscream can kill Thundercracker, Brawn enters the room.  Brawn punches Starscream in the face and he flies through a wall.  Brawn continues his attack on Starscream, he stands over Starscream and continues to punch him.  Starscream goes to shoot Brawn, but Brawn crushes his gun.  Brawn thinks that Starscream shot down the Skywatch plane with other Autobots on it and wants to beat it out of Starscream.  Starscream begs Brawn to stop hurting him and says he didn’t shoot the plane down.

Starscream is knocked out and Brawn stands over him.  Brawn asks Thundercracker if he is okay.  Thundercracker says he needs Ratchet.  Brawn can only transport one other Transformer at a time, so he doesn’t take Starscream into custody and he takes Thundercracker for repairs.  Thundercracker rides on top of Brawn’s vehicle mode roof.

Optimus Prime tells the Autobots that Cybertron is habitable again, but Galvatron is out there forming an army.  Optimus plans to go back to Cybertron inside of Omega Supreme and tells the Autobots that he will take whoever wants to go with him.  All of the Autobots aside for Bumblebee plan to go back to Cybertron.

As the Kimia Outpost arrives in Cybertron’s orbit, it deploys its main cannon to attack the surface.  All of the Autobots dive to cover. Ultimately, Megatron gets free from Omega Supreme, gives himself new armor, and saves the Autobots from Galvatron.

The Autobots watch as an enhanced Megatron battles the Sweeps (successfully). The Decepticons who were on Earth join the fight with the Autobots.  When the Constructicons merge into Devestator, it turns the tide of the battle.  Sunstreaker tells the Autobots that Omega Supreme is not in any condition to protect them.  Suddenly, all of the Decepticons go into a trance and stop fighting.  All of the Decepticons and all of Galvatron’s forces merge into a massive monster.  The Deceptigod known as D-Void.

Brawn was one of the strongest Autobots after Optimus Prime, Grimlock, and (obviously) any combiner. Aside for the standard weaponry, Brawn was able to deploy a welding tool from his hand. Also, in vehicle mode, he was able to deploy a drill out of his hood.
